I visited the preview advent on Fashioned by Nature at the V&A, which feathered natural innovative of new fabrics, dyeing processes & nature inspired within Textiles designs. It showcased examples back to the 1800’s to more current designs from inspirational creations with Calvin Klein Green Carpet Challenge dress worn by Emma Watson which was made from recycled bottles, Niki’s Parley trainer made from ocean plastics & much more. I especially thought that No more waste stand made a strong statement with powerful awareness slogan tee, capturing and highlighting the Carbon Footprint & landfill fill waste, and how we as consumers need to think on ways how to change our mind set & create a new thought, do we really need to buy so many clothes!

I’ve attached pictures which I thought really captured the beauty within the designs and highlighting global warming awareness. The exhibion is on till January 2019, so you have plenty of time to get to it.

The exhibition showcases fashionable dress & natural & innovative new fabrics with dyeing processes. Created to make 'you'  think about the materials of fashion and the sources of  clothes.
